This is a cute story and my granddaughter loved it! We talked about all the pictures and how cute the baby animals were. She was very interested that a momma dog would be a mother to a baby pig! Cute!

The End of The Road: A Maxie and Stretch Mystery

by: Sue Henry
It has been some time since reading Sue Henry so when this book appeared on our public library shelves, I was delighted to spend time with Maxie and Stretch. The Hallo-wiener

Usually seasonal books are just okay and get read for a day or two around that holiday. The Hallo-Weiner is so cute and funny and has a great message to boot. We read it all the time! My kids (K and 1st grade) love it so much that they are already reading the whole things themselves. I highly recommend this book. We are Pilkey fans in general, but this one is especially good.
